This is a topic for the RP we'd been talking about. If anyone can come up with a better name, please do tell and I'll edit xD I'll post more later, I have aaaaaall day to think about this. Hehee. Keep it ebil.
Here are the Char Sheets I mentioned. They tend to help.
Gender: (male or female?) Name: (the full name of your character, and maybe why he/she got it) Biography: (a description of his/her life from when the character is born up to the point of the RP. Here you should also mention your character's race.) Sexual Experience: (lets face it, this often defines a character's personality) Age: (pretty important detail) Appearance: (how does your character look? Body, face etc. Post pics as well if you want.) Accent/Way of Speaking: (do I really need to explain this one?) Personality: (just the outline of the personality so we know what to expect of your character - we'll get to know him/her better through the RP.) Powers: (what does your character have the power to do? Is he physically strong, does he have magic powers, does he use a weapon?) World: (Is the world futuristic or more fantasy-like? What is the current situation there? What are the people called there?)
EDIT: I was thinking (yeah i do that from time to time)... Would you mind if I wrote in 1st person? I just feel that it would come more naturally to my character if we told his own parts.

I made this character a while ago, and he's the one who inspired me to have a new RP - originally i was going to use him in the Dark SiDe.
Gender: Male
Name: Evenus Cainnelat. In his land, that means Dark Sunlight. Some people just call him Evenus, though most prefer Cainn.
Biography: Cainn was born in the land of Faerie, in a small town called Ayaire. In his day and age men were considered superior: a male Faerie would usually have about 3 female partners, who were responsible for raising the children while running the household. Proudly his mother, Celeste Cainnelat, scorned all that – she was as powerful and strong-willed as any man, and no one could tell her otherwise. It wasn’t till the age of 30 that she became pregnant, and still she belonged to no man – such a thing was unthinkable! A child was definitely not a part of her life plan and though she had begged for someone, anyone, to help her rid of the baby growing inside her body before it was too late, there was no such a thing as abortion. All changed the moment he was born. As soon as she laid her eyes on Cainn, she loved him with all her heart. Celeste raised him alone, providing him with everything she could. From a young age Cainn showed an incredible talent in the subject of telepathy, and his mother worked hard in order to get him in “MSG”, the Magic School for the Gifted. Since then, Cainn promised Celeste that he’d make her proud.
Cainn’s father had always been a mystery to him. Then on his 15th birthday his mother was in a lethal accident, and as she was dying she revealed the truth about Cainn’s father: that he was a Desha. Deshas are the only creatures with the power to travel to different worlds. They are shape shifters, so they can take the form of the creatures that rule each land they visit, though their original form is a mass of silver smoke. Though Cainn has no idea, his father was one of the Ancient Deshas, the ones that are older than 1000 years, but did not follow their beliefs and ideals concerning world harmony. To defy their rules, and to prove that no one could command him, he seduced Cainn’s mother and got her pregnant - it infuriated the other Deshas, as one of their most sacred laws was that a Desha could only reproduce with another Desha, and only on rare occasions. That was because there was no telling how their powerful genes would mix with those of another creature – the result could have been a creature with catastrophic powers.
At the age of 25 he died, in a way. There was an accident, same as his mother’s, and he had no chance of surviving - he could feel life leaving his body. But as he was drifting away, to the land of the dead, Cainn managed to grab hold of a crack through time and space, a Window, and leave the realm of death for another world. That action awakened his Desha powers within him, and turned him into a creature entirely different from what he was before – his former self was indeed dead.
Sexual Experience: His mother’s death affected Cainn greatly – he dropped out of school, refused to live with anyone but himself and surrendered, it was as if he had quit life. He drank all day long, spend countless of hours in infamous bars, and slept with women he didn’t even know the names of. That made him quite experienced with women, though he never had one serious relationship in his life. When he was 19, an apparition of his mother in his dreams telling him to move slowly made Cainn want to rebuild his life. He returned to his studies and eventually got a job, which lead him to the respectful position of Director of Faerie Supernatural. As his importance grew, women around Faerie became increasingly inviting; he accepted their invitations just so he could show that there was nothing he couldn't get anymore.
Age: When he unlocked his Desha powers Cainn stopped aging, so he forever looks 25. So far, he has managed to reach 1000 years of age, more or less.
Appearance: By some races he is considered quite tall, being 1.90 meters high, but among his people it is not unusual at all. Don’t ask me how much he weighted when he was mortal, because I have no idea. Back in his time, no one really paid attention to those things – it was a happy time for the ladies. In his current form, he feels almost weightless, but that is due to the immerse strength he holds. Despite his athletic built, he is as heavy as 3 mortal men, with his bones being as hard as marble, and his skin thick and hard.
Cainn’s raven-black hair is just above shoulder length, with a wavy, wild flow. At the top, where bits of it are cut shorter, it seems to defy gravity for some reason. It’s actually quite funky, now that I think about it, without it being too strange or abnormal. It just about hides his ears, which are pointed at the tip – not long or pointy enough for a Faerie, but too sharp to be human. His slightly slanted eyes – which seem to be a tad too big for his face - are quite unusual: they are as dark as a moonless night, while his pupils that should have been black, are silver, with a slight glow emitting from them. To balance out his dark hair and eyes, his skin is as pale as death - as cold as death too.
Like most Faerie, Cainn has quite sharply defined features, but while the majority of his kind is born with slim, almost feminine eyebrows, his are thick and curved, though still well defined. Beneath his thin - but not too thin - lips he hides a pair of fangs and shows them only when he chooses. All male Faerie have them - they're nothing large, just a bit pointy at the tip – though they have no use for them except to attract the females.
Accent/Way of Speaking: Cainn didn’t know what this meant until recently – no more than 100 years ago I believe. Then on some world he visited was a land called England and many of the citizens noted that he had a “slight Irish accent”, as they described it.
Cainn was born in a day and age where people spoke as if they were having a who-is-going-to-form-the-most-complicated-sentence-with-the-biggest-words contest. Scorning that, he speaks what he thinks and though what he thinks may be complicated at times, he tries to put it in the simplest words possible.
Personality: Two things define Cainn and those are his thirst for knowledge and his free spirit. He wants to know anything there is to know about the different worlds he has the power to visit, and he wants to be free to roam the lands without anyone seeking to control him. Cainn absolutely loathes being told what to do, he is nobody's pawn and he makes his own luck. Many have called him stubborn, but he prefers to see it as "strong-willed". The above characteristics have made him a daredevil, a creature who welcomes a new adventure with open arms, fully aware of the danger that follows. As Cainn once joked, his immortal life is just too short to be taken seriously.
You could say Cainn is introverted, because he rarely ever truly opens himself to other people, and finds it extremely difficult to form any attachments – he has commitment issues. On the other hand, he likes surrounding himself with strangers from time to time, and always keeps his cool around them – he is certainly not shy. Some see him as something exotic, but not as a true person they could relate to, or form any kind of relationship with, he is strange, alien to them. So at first he seems like an extrovert and a huge tease, as Cainn loves being in the spotlight, but push him a little deeper into the relationship and he shuts himself away from the rest of the world.
The fact that he often likes being around people doesn’t mean that he actually cares about them. “Three are the most important people in my life: Me, Myself, and I,” Cainn claims. Most beings age and die, so he finds no point in caring about them when they will be gone in just a few years. Part of the reason for why he has developed such a manner towards others is his “diet”. No food is needed to sustain him, since Cainn feasts on the souls of other creatures. When he finds beings that do not hold great power, he can reach out and suck their life energy out of their very bodies. Most people would call him a killer, but he doesn’t think himself evil, for he only kills in order to stay alive.
Powers: Cainn’s powers are both his strong and weak point. His ability in telepathy and telekinesis can be a lifesaver at times, as long as it does not get out of control. Though the telepathic power he holds is not godly, it has been enough to keep him alive so far. As I have mentioned before, he is immortal. That is, he does not age, though he can still be killed by other means – he isn’t too fond of finding out what they may be.
As Cainn is half Desha, he has the power to traverse different worlds. He can reach out for the different particles in the air and sense them, the Windows of the universe that will allow him to cross to a different realm. Each Window has a different aura, like its personal signature, so there’s little chance of him mixing the worlds and ending up in a different place than the one he had wanted. That would of course be very unfortunate, since he wouldn’t be able to leave for a while. You see, once Cainn passes on to a different world, it takes time for his world-crossing power to build up again. It is as if it needs to “recharge”, to put it simply. There’s no knowing exactly how long that will take, it differs from time to time. Sometimes it takes days, sometimes weeks or even months.
World: Faerie (The nature of this world will remain hidden for now, since Cainn does not remember it. Eventually he will find it, and it will take time for him to realise that it's actually the place he was born and raised in.)

Gender: Male
Name: Edward Laurel, but his friends call him Eddie.
Biography: Eddie Laurel is a failing poet. He often comes up with rhymes out of nowhere that sound really good, but when he writes them down, the rest just disappears. He feels he is on the verge of something, but is not sure what. Being a poet doesn't normally pay the bills though, especially a failing poet, so he has a 'proper' job, he works behind the counter at a local fast food shop, called McSullivans. He hates it there, but he does have to pay the bills, after all.
Sexual Experience: At first, when rhymes came to his head properly, he was able to write very good romantic poetry. Admittedly, this earned him a lot of sex. Unfortunately, these days he can't just live off the glory of his own poems, and without his rhymes he has no confidence. He hasn't been able to approach a woman for a long time. One of his best friends works as a prostitute, but he would never approach her, because he thinks it would be far too awkward.
Age: Eddie is around 25 years old.
Appearance: At 25 years of age, Eddie is a young looking man, but not too young. He has some light stubble around his face, and medium length brown curly hair. He's around 6 foot tall, and very thin. He says he is so thin because he never eats at McSullivans, the reasons for which he has never explained.
Accent/Way of Speaking: He is normally very quiet, unless reciting poetry, then his voice becomes much more pronounced and louder.
Personality: At the start of the story, he is very subdued and tries to just take the easy way through life. He will often do what people ask just to avoid confrontation. He is only truly confident when he is reciting one of his poems.
Powers: He currently has no special abilities at all, and is also very scared of confrontation. He would rather ask his friends for help in a fight.
World: Eddie lives on a planet called Shadra. Technologically, Shadra is not much more advanced then our current technology, but at least politically, there are no major problems. However, the population don't quite see it that way. There is a very big divide between subcultures, the normal humans, like Eddie, a group of religious fanatics who worship a demon called Bachameth, and the Splicers, who are people who tried to become superior by changing their DNA. Certain types of Splicer had been known to have highly aggressive tendencies, and as a result, all Splicers were ordered to be exterminated by the government. Despite there being no war between nations, there is war on the streets.

Gender: Male Name: Jedediah (Jed) King Biography: Jedediah got inducted into the cult of Bachameth at an early age, when his parents became members. This cult is a religious sect that believes fighting is the true way to spiritual freedom, and that to die in battle is a great honour. Much like the Spartans, the followers of Bachameth believe in the idea of a beautiful death. Jed's father was hailed as a hero after he died trying to defend his family from a police search. He charged at the police, who were armed with guns, while he had nothing but a sword. Even after taking multiple rounds to the torso, he managed to kill at least 5 armed police before one hit him in the head. The police were looking for splicers, and Jed's mother was one. She was a splicer in love with a human, and as such, Jed is half splicer. His mother was one of the splicers known for being aggressive, and as such Jed is also very aggressive at times too. His mother died in a fight too, she also ended up against a large amount of armed police officers. She managed to kill 8 of them with her bare hands. A splicer is a human who mixed their DNA with that of a demon. One very early example of a splicer would be Jason, from the Dark SiDe. He had not known of the future of splicers, and he had not yet gained some of the characteristics, but all splicers have silver hair, as well as increased speed, strength and endurance. Sexual Experience: Jedediah believes in total celibacy, as he views his splicer heritage as a curse. He is afraid any children he may have would be persecuted the same as he is, and as such would not risk the chance of having children until the current crisis is over. Age: Jed is 31 years old. Appearance: He looks very human, however he has some telling features of a splicer. His eyes are yellow, he has silver hair, and he is naturally muscular. He also has pointed ears. Apart from this, he looks like any normal human. Accent/Way of Speaking: He speaks almost like a normal human, but his voice has a strange hint of the splicer accent in there. Splicers speak differently to normal humans because their mouths are shaped differently. This leads to a very strange sounding voice. The splicer accent makes his voice sound like The Stranger in 30 Days Of Night. The accent can be found here: Clip 1 and Clip 2Personality: Jed is very subdued around women, and always ignores their advances. However, when someone threatens him with a fight, he will most often accept it. He is a very aggressive individual. Powers: He is a lot stronger and faster than a normal human. However, he can do one thing splicers cannot. Full splicers are not human enough to be able to train themselves to improve, whereas Jed, only being half splicer, means that he is mostly human, and can therefore train himself to improve much better than any other splicer. He can also regrow limbs. World: The same as Eddie Laurel's world.

Maya Lenne Johnson Gender: Female Age: 23 Sexual Experience: She's straight and yes she's had experience. Accent/Way of Speaking: Growing up in England, London she has a thick British accent - but more on the posh side than anything else. Appearance:
Picture---> Maya is around 5'5 and weighs in just around 100lbs - a small lean frame with a medium bust size. She's got a rectangular shaped face, which is long and slender with high cheekbones, neatly trimmed arched eyebrows - a narrow chin and a semi-high forehead. Wide full lips, which have a natural curve upwards - making her look like she always has a sly smirk on her lips. A small, lean nose with a little concave a the tip. Wide almond shaped eyes, shimmering in fine facets of amber and Emerald - encircled with thick long lashes, slightly curled upwards. She inherited a mix of her father's and mothers complexion, a light olive tone which almost glows in a pale gold - cared after greatly. Naturally raven black hair, curls up at the edges - reaches down to just under her bust line. She usually wears it in a high ponytail, or free flowing. Personality: She's pretty outgoing and friendly, although she can get very stubborn and aggravated whenever things don't go her way. She's got a little problem with untidiness - it drives her insanely mad if someone does not take care of themselves appearance, she almost feels the urge to grab the person and throw them into a bath herself. Hygiene is very important to her - probably close to being a tick of hers. Biography:
Born to British noble Admiral and his Indian descendant wife, Maya had a relatively easygoing life so far- money was never a worry. Living on the outskirts of London, in a small village with nothing but miles of farmland. An idyllic place to grow up in, Maya had a wonderful childhood. Her young days she spent either at a preschool or at home playing the piano or violin. She started to learn both instruments around the age of 5 and 6, she is a musically talented individual. After seeing many TV personalities, singing, dancing and becoming famous she decided upon the age of 10 what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Though her parents were very concerned for her Academic education, they agreed to her proposal of still going to school and doing what she loved - singing and making music. Maya was a bright kid, by the age of fifteen she was playing two instruments - and spoke five different languages frighteningly fluent. German, French, Hindi, Urdu and English, three of them being a mixture of her mother's and father's native language, it wasn't much of a surprise for a multi-cultured kid to know as many. A little bit of a book worm, she loved to read about the ancient Egyptians as well as other dated back cultures. Maya went to an all girls, nun convent. So she jokingly always calls it 'the years of lost experience', since there were no boys - she say's she missed out very important things in her teens. Finishing her GCSE's at the age of sixteen , she was ready to take on her A levels. She chose Classical music, History, Fine art, Performing arts, French and German. Thanks to her mothers intervention, she was send to a mixed school where they had a sixth form. As the two years passed on, Maya grew into a young woman eager to see the world. She had pursuit the carrier she wanted for so long, taking singing lessons with some of the finest vocal coaches out there - she became more and more impatient. Passing her Exams very well, she enrolled for two Universities, the Kingston and Oxford. With great recommendations she was taken in by Oxford, her major being Ancient civilizations and Classical music. The nineteen-year-old Maya was surely still a little naive, when it came down to relationships. Her first few at College were a down right disaster, these guys were pretty dirty playing Playboys. But despite the fact she had some bad experiences she didn't turn all sour on all of "Menkind". She was a pretty girl, and what she did - was pretty simple. She just imitated her male counterparts, which earned her through her college years the nickname of 'Femme Fatal'. Apparently her acting towards men as they acted towards her - was seen as a 'trouble maker' and 'dangerous' woman to have business with. Double standards of her society made her sick to her stomach, her parents didn't like her way of life either. She was 'toying' with the hearts of young men, something a young woman shouldn't do... apparently. Though a couple years later she met someone on an archaeological dig in Giseh, this guy was notably 6 years older than her but his matureness and sense of humor wrapped her into his charm. They ended up together but later she found out he had a wife back at home in England. She brushed it off fairly well, although the whole trusting someone part was slowly getting more and more difficult. Studying at Oxford she picked up fencing as a sport - it helped her to vent some of the anger she held within. She actually became quite good at it and started to compete in different tournaments - her highest achievement up to date is the seconds place in the regionals, and 4th in the nationals. Despite all the other things happening in her life, she never lost sight of her one main goal. In 5 years she finished both her degrees and was ready to take on what she had practiced for her life long. Certain contacts allowed her to do various interviews with many different companies, when they found one who was perfectly suitable towards Maya. Now 23 she is at the brink of something big, her life long dreams might just come true - until that one fateful day. The only thing she can remember is - she was on her way to her violin and vocal lessons, strangely enough she just entered the building as usual but found herself in a completely different world. Powers: She's just a normal Human - I guess she does know how to use a rapier pretty well, fencing. Her strength would be her mind more than anything, she's a pretty intellectual woman who absorbs information very well and quick. World:
She comes from Earth - the year is 2009, do I need to post a picture??? Well as hinted before she was drawn into this other world by complete chance. She just opened the door to the building she usually practices in and 'voila', she found herself in a rather strange realm, VERY different from her world. There US was recovering from a War they fought for a couple years followed by minor civil unrests through the world.

Nice characters!
Also, deeviousdemon, I know what you mean by a British accent, but damn it gets annoying sometimes. Are you from the UK at all? I'm from around the north, and I have a British accent too, but it's not the one you're thinking of.
No offence, but that character seems like just one huge stereotype.
I'm honestly surprised there was no mention of tea, or scones.
I'm sorry, but that's just my opinion. Other people may like it, I dunno.

Hence I said - she has a posh british accent. I ain't talking bout the Brummy, and further north since I did say she grew up in london. And I live in the UK, the south east - and for Maya being a normal human being without any powers I thinks she is quite a nifty character If you call ''normal'' stereotype XD EDIT: Oh and did I mention she's from the year 2009 ...lol

Of course, she is your character, and you can write her how you wish. It just sounds a little stereotypical to me. Also, since you live in the South, I have to ask... Do you actually know of any towns further North than Leeds or Birmingham?

Hmm I know of Manchester, Glasgow, Dundee ... Edinburgh - top of my hat... New Castle! Well thats like hiiiiigh up north I can think of... lol Well and on the character - would it be less stereotypical if she ended up a Vampire? I based the character off of me.. XD I am going to Oxford and my dad is a decorated officer in the navy - mum is in fact of indian descent and eh the only thing I don't do is fencing XD Even though my violin playing as well as the singing is a hobby and nothing I would pursuit. I guess my life is pretty stereotypical then ... lol EDIT: I typed Admiral instead of officer... I fail at times... *sighs*

I'm doing my A Levels at the moment, from Middlebrough, I like a bit of classical music but much prefer metal, studying Psychology, Sociology and Biology, I don't like tea, I live with my Grandparents, my Grandma is a nurse at a hospice and my Grandad volunteers for the red cross, and I don't play an instrument... I think we may be opposites.

That is the reason I like your character: she is a normal human girl. Real life tends to me stereotypical I suppose! And nuuuu to the vampire idea! Please no xD Let the poor girl be human.

God no - I am not changing the character into a weird Vampire - seriously that would be the last thing I would do.
And just because someone aims high in life it ain't stereotypical - I don't think it is... anyways - I am studying Law at Oxford - haha there the tip of the iceberg you call Stereotypical... lol
