I'd love to be fluent in another language, I think languages are SO important, but they are taught so pathetically over here!! "Where is the town hall?" Who the hell goes to the town hall when they're on holiday?

Well, they do teach that...
For example, if i'm right, then the german for town hall is Rathaus. Or something similar.
Who even goes to their own town hall?

Entschuldigen Sie, bitte. Wie komme ich zum Rathaus? Ah! Gehen Sie immer geradeaus weiter, nehmen Sie die zweite Strasse links und dann folgen Sie den Schildern nach 'Rathaus'First person to translate it all gets a pineapple....

Ah, its close, go past two street croosings and a square, and you get to the "town hall".
Close enough for a Pure guess, though.

hey fern .... welcum to da Dark SiDe nope , my native lang is'sn english either ... does it appear like that ? Not usually, sometimes what you say confuses/disturbs me, though I never know whether or not to chalk it up to English not being your native language or chalk it up to you messing with me. Pineapple for you! WELCOME, FERN! I think you may have the honor of being the first ever Dark SiDer that was recruited from the non-Internet world. ;D You'll love it here, we're all kinds of awesome.
