So, Tundra and I have recently began taking part in a charity event, called Webcomic Charity. It is gathering speed quite fast, and I felt you guys might want to check it out.

It is a very good cause, and I personally feel that it would be worth your while to take a look.
I also have a link coming from a picture in my sig, because i'm cool like that.
If you guys could help out, in whatever way you want, that would be great. If you draw a webcomic, that would be very helpful, but so would simply spreading the word.
Basically, the point of this event is that webcomic artists create postcards featuring their characters. People who donate money will recieve a postcard, but there will also be special, limited edition postcards, which may cost a bit more. These will also feature a special message from the comic characters.
All of the money made from this event will be going to a charity. The benefiting charity is chosen by opinion poll, and at the moment Kiva looks like it is winning. Kiva is a charity that invests money into a 3rd world business, in order to help the business owners make a life for themself, and even help combat poverty by providing other people with jobs too.
The one coming second was my suggestion. Zoes Place, which is a hospice for children aged 5 and under.
Unfortunately, none of these charities recieve a lot of money or attention, so the event was thought up originally to help these small charities that really do depend on the money made by donations.
Please, it would be much appreciated if you help in any way you can. If you wish to spread the word, banners and avatars can be found here: yamiloo.com/charity/spread-the-word/
