Tundra turned round to congratulate Nailah.. "Nailah, that was just...wonderful.." Tundra grinned happily and began to clap as Dreevy whimpered softly clutching his bloody nose... "It was nothing..." She said. And Tundra couldn't help but notice the look she gave Chris

OOC:Oh good, ES is back. Hey! Where've you been?
"Wow, that was great Nailah! Although you didn't seem yourself, you like playing with your prey first," he said with a smile, that was quickly wiped off by the look he received. "Nailah? What's up, what's bothering you?" he said concerned. "We'll talk about it later..." she said, struggling to hide both her anger and her sadness. "Why can't we talk about it now? It's just class, we're all done going up..." "Look we'll talk about it later!!" she said out loud. The class looked at them. "Please keep quiet, you two, class time isn't drama time," the teacher said.
Chris sat down again, but heard stifled laughs from the corner. It was that guy again. He started,
"Trouble.." "Don't you dare say it," Chris warned, clenching his left hand into a fist, tiny sparks of electricity popping out. "Whatever you say," the boy said. Chris opened his hand and relaxed. "Good, now you're learning not to mess-" "Trouble in paradise?" the boy said turning around completely.
Chris kicked his chair behind him and threw his strongest fireball at him.

When SD walked inside the classroom, it took her a second to register in her mind exactly what was going on. She could see Chris, one of the new students, having thrown himself at some other boy - quite pathetic looking really - shouting. Some of the hair of that poor boy also seemed to be on fire and he was trying to free himself from Chris' arms; he was almost in tears.
The rest of the class was watching, speechless, even the teacher did not know how to react, although Samantha could have sworn that he was actually enjoying this. And though she would never admit it, so did she. The boy, she could tell, was from the Phoenix house and they never did get along well with the Dragons. Of course she could not just sit there and watch; as the Principal she held full responsibility.
"Guy, knock it off!" she shouted out loud, her voice echoing in the classroom. Everyone froze. They turned to face her.
Silence fell. Chris relaxed his grip on the boy, but still did not let go. The other, however, thought to take advantage of that and punched Chris in the face. Before he could react, a second voice sounded, this time a lot louder and deeper.
"She said, KNOCK IT OFF!" at that, an invisible but very powerful force threw each boy at the oppisite side of the classroom and pinned them on the wall, upside-down. Another person had entered the classroom and was standing by the side of SD. He seemed about 16 years old, but there was a mysterious aura surrounding him, like he wasn't quite human.
"Now, i would ask you to apologize to each other, but i know you will do no such a thing, so i will just let you off with a warning. Should i see you behaving in such a way ever again, you will wish that i had let you just hang there for the rest of your stay here." while he spoke, he was looking mainly at the other boy, rather than Chris, but he tried not to let that show too much. Then he added, "Take a seat, SD has something she wishes to tell you. You better listen quietly." The two boys slumped on the floor with a loud 'THUD' and scrambled to their chairs.
"Thank you Cho..." Queen SD stepped forward, "There have been sightings of students wondering around the sixth floor. Need i remind you that the access to those grounds is strictly FORBIDDEN? I hope i will not need to repeat myself ever again." she looked around the classroom, making sure everyone had heard her. "Also, there has been a change in today's schedule. After this class, you will have a one hour break and then you will have to meet outside the main entrance, for your first flying lesson. Cho will be your teacher." the boy who had put an end to the previous fight stepped forth and gave a little bow.
"That will be all..." and with that, they departed.

"Ow...." Chris said as he was rubbing his neck. "What the hell happened...." "Telekinesis, I've read about it, and tried it. Not my thing." Nailah explained "Oh...." Chris said, not knowing what else to add. "Good to see you're talking again," "Oh...well..." Chris grinned. "So did you hear what the principal said about the forbidden floor?" "I know what you're thinking, Chris," "And?" "I like it," she said with a sly grin.

Tundra was glad Chris and Nailah seemed to be getting along again. She had been really impressed the way SD had dealt with the fighting. Tundra was used to scuffles and fights from her previous village, but, there was something more...animal in the way Chris fought. Something that made her think he really wanted to hurt his opponent.
Either way, Tundra was thrilled at the prospect of a flying lesson, it had been the one she'd been looking forward to the most. Sadly, she hadn't been allowed to take her own glider, it was too big and bulky, and the lightweight travel gliders wouldn't have lasted.
Her, Chris and Nailah walked along the corridors preparing themselves for the next lesson. Tundra was still a bit shy, even just talking to her two new friends, her voice was quiet whenever she spoke. "So, have you guys ever flown before?" Tundra tried to make conversation.

Chris and Nailah turned to each other and burst out laughing. "Not exactly the way you'd imagine," they said in unison. "Hey, we've still got about a half hour till the lesson starts, we should go do something... And I know just what to do," Chris said with a grin. He walked to the stair cases and started going up.

Nolana could have just run and it would have been enough to catch up with her new friends. But of course she would not waste this perfect chance to practice her magic and surprise them. She snapped her fingers and time froze. The elf slowly made her way towards Chris, Nailah and Tundra. When she got to their side, she snapped her fingers once more and time resumed. This resulted in a very surprised Tundra and a highly entertained Chris.
“Hey guys, what’s up?” she grinned.
_________
“So… are you sure they took the bait?” asked a male voice. It belonged to Cho. “Of course I’m sure. This is the Dragons we’re talking about. I suspect Chris most of all will be unable to resist the temptation.” The Queen replied. “Is this appropriate?” “Why wouldn’t it be? All I wish to do is test them… If they fail, no harm done. If they succeed in getting the object, all the better.”

"Hey Nolana!" Chris said cheerfully Nailah looked a bit apprehensive, but eventually decided they couldn't be more than friends... although she was wondering what they were doing while she was frozen in time. "Hi Nolana!" Nailah said, smiling. "We were just heading over to that "forbidden" place the principal was talking about," Chris said casually "Sounds like fun,"
When they got back up there, they saw 'that guy' again. Chris glanced over his shoulder and saw no authority figures. He smiled.
"I knew you'd come here," he said. "Do you like getting your ass handed to you?"
He closed a book.
"I know you're about to get yours handed to you," he said smugly "Oh really?" Chris said "Yeah really!" the boy yelled as he summoned a snake of fire in the air above him. Chris didn't look scared, but glanced to Nailah. The snake lunged at him, but Chris stepped back and Nailah stepped forward. She took control of it and redirected it to its creator. The Chris and Nailah walked past the unconscious sizzling body and into the sixth floor.
"We'll get him to the medic later," Chris said. "Served him right, Phoenix, but can't even use fire right,"

Nolana and the others made their way to the sixth floor as quickly as possible. They didn’t have long before their next lesson. The corridor was empty and dark, they could barely see until Chris summoned a fire ball to light the way. They were going forward for a while, there seemed to be no end to it. Finally, they decided to take a turn to the left and see where it led them. Not too far away, they spotted an old-looking door of some significance laying on the right. Nolana reached for the handle.
“Locked”, she mumbled, after attempting to turn it round. “Well this is not going to stop us, is it?” Chris came closer and seemed as if he was prepared to strike. “Wait!” Nailah let out and grabbed his arm, making the fire-ball he held disappear. “What?” he said slightly annoyed. “Did you hear that?” the girl whispered.
They held their breath, surrounded by darkness. Utter silence followed. “It’s nothing…” Chris mumbled.
But then they heard it again, this time louder. Steps on the stone floor, not too far behind. They were not alone. Soon enough, from the corner where they had come from emerged a figure. They could not make out who it was, there was barely any light.
“Stay back”, Nolana whispered and moved towards the figure. She was already mumbling a spell under her breath. As she always did when she casted a time spell, she extended her arm and it emitted a faint glow. The figure seemed to freeze.
“Okay guys, quick”, she turned to her friends and motioned to them to open the old wooden door. Chris summoned some fire to light their surroundings once again and just out of curiosity, Nolana looked back at the corridor to see who that mysterious figure that had sneaked up on them was. But it was nowhere to be seen. A shiver ran down her spine.
“Chris…” she started to warn them, but was cut short by a quick movement behind them. “Who’s there!?” Tundra half yelled, half mumbled. She seemed to be terrified. “Move it Chris!” the elf pushed him. He summoned quite a bit of strength and was ready to smash it against the door, when the fire in his hand went off again.
Before any of them were able to react, another light, much brighter and whiter lit the corridor. “What are you all up to?” a boy’s voice sounded. As their eyes adjusted to the light, they recognized his face. Cho was standing before them, with a light orb floating in his left hand.
“Sir!” Tundra quickly said in her surprise. The boy laughed. “Please, madam, there is no meaning to such formalities. Just call me Cho, seriously.” They stood there speechless for a few seconds.
“So… you’re not going to give us away?” Nolana spoke, noticing that none of them had made it to detention yet. “Me? Are you kidding? Well… I suppose I will have to, if you take this long to open each door! Go on, you’re not the only ones wanting to see what’s on the other side!”
Still no one moved. Was he messing with them?
“Okay whatever”, the boy made his way to the door and placed his hand on the lock, then mumbled something under his breath. There was a loud clicking sound and the door swung over. “After you…” he signed to Chris.

The group stepped in through the door and their noses were pierced with a foul smell, and the air was stuffy.
"What the hell is that smell," Chris said as he pulled his cloak up to cover his nose. The others did the same. "Ow, what was that?" Nailah said as she bumped into something. She held up a fireball and saw a large flower with huge thorns that were placed in such a way they looked like teeth around a mouth. It seemed to get angry from the fire Nailah made and lashed a vine at her.
"Ahhh!! Help!" She cried out as she dodged vines. The group tried to run back to her, but they were attacked by more of the plants.
The one who made it to her first was Chris, as he ripped the vines to shreds with lightning bolts. He used a large portion of his energy to create a bolt strong enough to eviscerate the plant attacking Nailah before asking if she was okay.
"*panting* Are you alright?" "Yeah, but the others," she said.
They ran over to help their friends.
